    How do I add a tenant?

    Navigate to a unit and click "Add Tenant". Enter the tenant's details and lease information including rent, deposit, and billing frequency.

    How does invoicing work?

    Invoices can be generated manually or automatically based on billing frequency. Each invoice includes rent and any additional charges like water, garbage, or electricity.

    What payment methods are supported?

    Kodisawa tracks payments via M-Pesa, bank transfer, cash, and cheque. Record payments against invoices to keep your books balanced.

    Can I invite a caretaker to manage properties?

    Yes! Go to Settings > Team to invite caretakers. They can help manage day-to-day operations while you maintain oversight.

    How do I track outstanding rent?

    The dashboard shows all unpaid invoices and tenant balances. You can also view aging reports to see how long payments have been outstanding.
